MPE2013 receives the patronage of UNESCO with the following French quote from Irina Bokova, the UNESCO Director General:
“L’UNESCO ne peut que saluer ce projet mondial qui contribuera très certainement à promouvoir les mathématiques auprès du grand public, notamment les plus jeunes. Ce faisant, l’esprit de cette opération épouse pleinement les missions de notre Organisation.”
