The members of the North American mathematical community will be invited to submit proposals for activities related to the theme. A request for proposals will be announced in the Fall of 2010. Expressions of interest for individual workshops or other activities should be directed directly to one of the institutes (AIM, BIRS, CRM, DIMACS, Fields, IMA, IPAM, MBI, MITACS, MSRI, NIMBioS, PIMS, SAMSI). A joint scientific committee will consider the proposals of joint thematic activities. Questions to the Scientific Committee should be sent via Christiane Rousseau (rousseac@dms.umontreal.ca).
